I've given up on Canola for the time being. I'll wait till I've re-flashed my 770 before installing it again. I use Kagu all the time now - the ID3 recognition is spot on - although it reads it's album art information from a .jpeg image in the album folder rather than embedded images.

I deleted those albums and replaced them with four others, all of which have full and correct ID3 tag information. I ran the auto-rescan applet to refresh the Canola database and then ran Canola.
For some reason Canola is no longer reading the tag information for artist/album/genre correctly - it just displays [Unknown]. All the individual tracks are listed under the "All" option, although when I select an individual track, only the track title is displayed, not the artist. I'm confused!
I went into the Canola set up menu and the albums are showing in the media library window (in red). So, I've just unistalled & then reinstalled Canola and it still hasn't solved the problem.
I use the latest version of MP3tag to "clean" the tag information and embed album art.
Has anyone else had this problem with Canola and found a workaround? Am I missing something obvious??
TIA
