You can use XTerm
and then type shutdown and alot the amount of time before.

Sorry...I am new at this, could you be a little more specif? I tried on my N900 like this "shutdown 10" and I got, "-sh: shutdown: not found"

You will need root access though (install rootsh, then run "sudo gainroot" in xterm and then the command above).Code:shutdown -h now
