Hi, would like to know if anyone knows how to change notifications in the N900 using scripts?

I'd like to script something like a notification aggregator (ie: if I've just received notification for an SMS, suppress and combine subsequent notifications into a single one that will be raised 5 minutes later). I'd imagine it saving some battery during periods when lotsa messages come in from pidgin, yappari, sms, mms, etc all for several hours straight.

Thus, I'm looking for something that can programmatically (script) disable specifically SMS/MMS/mail notifications & enable it back 5 minutes later. I don't want to disable notifications for incoming calls in that meantime.

a bit difficult. look for nikolai. he has a sms blocker app. that would be a start.
