what you did was rd-mode not open mode
open mode is that horrible warranty void message you get at every boot-up although it can be disabled from regular mode first...
in your case it might be worth to follow the link in my eariler post and see if you need help on any of the steps

I didn't change any settings, didn't install anything at all. Just set an alarm for 7:45 and turned it off. Now when i try to turn it on it gives me this message:
Any ideas what to do?
