A rumour says that the 7.8 upgrade is imminent(tomorrow) for for all windows 7 phones out there. I'm sure you have a windows 7 device among all your phones if you are a real techie Are you ready to upgrade?

Why not? Maybe my bedside alarm clock will then become more reliable with the update. It cannot get worse, can it?

Not bricking, igniting so it looks like a hardware fault and users don't blame microsoft, but the old batch of WP manufacturers
