I'm looking at getting an internet tablet type device but not sure which one fits. My requirements are as follows: Surf the web via wifi, get my email via web interface (.mac mail), transfer files with Mac OSX home computer, play movie videos (exported from iTunes, handbrake, etc.), read ebooks (ereader.com style - I have a palm and a large library of *.pdb books - can the Nokias handle this format?), show pictures of kids, dog, vacation, etc.

Optional: be a phone - voice only (Cdn data rates with Rogers are absurd!), play music (I have an iPod already although 1 device versus 2 would be nice, just spoiled by interface), use company's blackberry for bluetooth data connection, play games - mostly puzzle types to pass commuting time.

I am also looking at a couple of other options, namely the Nokia e90 or apple iPhone. Negatives - E90 is freakin' expensive. iPhone isn't officially available in Canada and not very expandable (8GB, no expansion slot).

Other thoughts floating through my mind...

Don't want Windows mobile device, want wide screen for video - not the postage stamp that is the video iPod & like devices, iPhone is (arguably) more user friendly particularly since I own both Mac OSX computer & iPod, I have alot of SD cards floating around, not sure if Palm TX is good at web browsing or mail (it's a bit cheaper than N800, but not sure if it's capable enough - I want a real browser, not a kludge).

Assuming 770 or n800 does it all - which is best bang for your buck? 770 is $149, N800 $379.

Any thoughts? TIA.
