Sorry, I won't help, I'm just curious why are you doing this?
Are you expecting profit? Fun? Something else?

You want to repair a prototype by destroying working n950s? You must be a very rich man. I don't know why you want to do this. We know that Harmattan lags with 512MB of RAM, because of nonstop swapping. I'd advise you to keep your n950 or sell them, but don't destroy them in favor of the prototype.

install drop cache
you'll see right away with your own eyes that Harmattant with less then 1 GB of RAM is hopeless.
after starting up, clearing all caches sometimes gives you about 500MB or free RAM.
most of the time it is less then 400MB
the only sensible thing you could do with the "Dali" proto would be to take the 64GB internal storage and put it in one of the other ones, if that's even possible...
probably slower then the 16GB ones.

Yes, but why? How will you benefit from the working prototype?
Do you think you'll be able to sell it so you make a profit?
I highly doubt you'll be able to sell it, especially at the price of 2-3 n950's...
What are you getting out of this? Why is it worth wasting all this time and money for this project?

I want to restore the Prototype Build B2 of Nokia RM-680.
It will come in very bad conditions during December 2012.
It's a very rare device (more than N950 16GB).
Picture:
Informations about the device:
- 512MB of RAM.
- 64GB of internal flash.
- SIM card door is missing.
- Screen has some damage.
- Camera sensor is 12MPx, physical camera button exists, but camera application doesn't react to it.
- Software was installed from http://harmattan-dev.nokia.com/release/N950/firmware/ = Harmattan 1.2 (3.2012.02-6, released 2012-01-25)
nb. help is welcome. I have some N950 (new conditions) in stock to repair the ProtoB2
Best Regards.
