Hi,

Is it possible to have Harmattan and Fremantle target on the same scratchbox install? I'll be willing to anyway push stuff to obs, but it's nice to be able to test it locally before pushing it there

Thanks.

I'm also interested in this, though I never took the time to pursue it. I suppose the way to go is to install the harmattan scratchbox and install a maemo toolchain on it.

The problem is, that some of the scratchbox packages are different versions (e.g. 1.0.16 and 1.0.17). I have already Fremantle SDK installed. Will it work to just install the new compiler and setup the Harmattan target? Some of the packages would be out of date, but if the final stuff is anyway pushed to obs...

Yes, you can have multiple working targets in the same Scratchbox installation (mine has Diablo, Fremantle, and Harmattan targets set up).

I've started out with a Fremantle SDK installation. IIRC, the Harmattan SDK installer "upgraded" my existing Scratchbox installation just fine (both the Fremantle and Harmattan targets were working OK).
I've installed the Diablo target more recently by setting up a new target manually (via sb-conf).

Well, I did it and now with dpkg-buildpackage on dh7 package I get

Code:
libfakeroot: invalid port number in FAKEROOTKEY
How can I fix it?

Unfortunately it doesn't work, as I already have the Fremantle SDK installed, and the Fre SDK installer (maemo-scratchbox-install_5.0.sh) refuses to reinstall...

/edit: copying all the installer tar.gzs,
Code:
for i in *.tar.gz; do sudo tar xvf $i -C /; done
and
Code:
sudo /scratchbox/run_me_first.sh
Worked like charm

OK, tried practically now, and

With scratchbox-core 1.0.16, creating the deb fails (/scratchbox/tools/bin/tar complains about unsupported options)
With scratchbox-core 1.0.27 libfakeroot: invalid port number in FAKEROOTKEY

Any ideas?
