I was under the impression that this was already working, provided you used a client that supports Jingle-Video. Kopete and Gossip are two clients that ought to support video calls, but the former doesn't work properly with my iSight in Ubuntu, and I'm having trouble satisfying the dependencies for the latter.

I've put a enhancement request on Maemo for N800 to desktop PC video calls, and ideally for me, N800 to desktop Linux video.
