Hi all my n810 keeps restarting, it boots up and i can get to the home screen then blue light on and it restarts, battery is charged too, somtimes i iam quick enough i can select an app then it restarts, this all started when i installed easy debian and then decided to uninstall it,which i did, i also had to manualy remove the stop debian app as it did not uninstall. so wanted to install another app and the device manager says memory full and it shut down. i cant even get into reflash i think it was home and zoom and power, i did a reflash on another unit i had years ago unless i lost the plot errr i think,any ideas

Does it reboot if you boot on battery only (charger unplugged)? There's a bug with aging batteries where your unit will spontaneously reboot. Workaround is to get an after market charger, which charges at a slower rate and avoids the bug.

If it still reboots, it really does sound like time for a reflash. You can find those instructions here:

Hi all got it fixed very frustrating,maybe this will help others instead of flashing the device.
if the machine is cycling thru bootstrap,let it restart and be ready to take tha battery out just as the machines switches off and nokia screen starts,now plug your usb cable into your pc and then put battery back in switch on as normal,whats going on here is the machine has corrupt internal storage media(not sd card) and the machine says its short on memory,by doing this the usb is forcing the machine to stay on and fool it has extra space,now to repare the internal memory go

You can also use the control panel to sort of "reset" the device. Click Control Panel then click the menu of it on the top left and goto Tools > Restore original settings or clear device. both of those options will leave some files intact...not a pure reset like re-flashing it however.

From the help file.
Restore original settings : "...This funtion does not affect the content you have created..."

Clear device data : "...this funtion does not affect the applets you have installed..."

Then check your repositories in the app manager and delete them and then go to

and restore them after that update the app manager the your device is fully functional
