Has anyone found a good FTP client for the Nokia 770? I would like to be able to move files around from my office when I am on travel with my 770. I am running 2006 OS. TIA

There is Maemo FTP which doesn't work for me (at least Bookmarks don't), and there's the command line tnftp, which I do use.

Thanks, I will try my luck with Maemo FTP. If that's not successful, will go with tnftp as you did. Appreciate the response.

I just realized that wget will let you get ftp files too. If you need a username / password, wget ftp://username:password@ftp.somewher...older/file.ext

It's not the most convenient but it'll do in a pinch.

or to download - why not just use the web browser - obviously same syntax as for wget

I tried using the Opera browser as well as the Minimo browser, and neither were able to load my personal FTP space from my University. This FTP space loads fine using my Internet Explorer on my laptop, allowing me to upload/download files. Using Firefox on my laptop I can only download files (no uploading).

On my 770 I tried using Maemo FTP and it seems to connect to the FTP server and log in using my username/password, but I can't view any of my files or folders. The program seems to freeze since I can't disconnect from the server.
