As we know that there are lots of applications available on other operating systems which support file sending, chat and low data voice calls.

I am interested in knowing if anyone has tried to port viber, line or any other instant messanger with voice call function on meego. I know that there has been lots of discussions about following apps but we seriously need an app which is similar to wazapp but has got a function to make free internet voice calls.

Does anyone know is it impossible to port viber or line on meego since I could not find it out from previous posts. I wish there was a possibility to port one of those apps to meego because it is almost impossible to stay in touch with people when most of them use popular messangers.

Yes, i know that you can make voice calls on skype or google talk but they are not the ones which work well. According to skype internal app, how is the video call project going on? I heard that someone is trying to code a working video call function on n9 but did the project die or not?
