I just found that one of the guys at my workplace used to work for Nokia for years with the designers (though not a designer). He seemed to know plenty about them and told me that he had a few prototypes knocking around. Today he came in and brought an 808 Pureview prototype that is build S1.1 and I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it. It's black and he's just been using it as a point and shoot for a while now. He also has a prototype of that laptop Nokia produced a year or so ago although he says he's given it to his sister (he says it's **** and can't even manage YouTube so I'm not sure what's up with it).
I did suggest to him that there's a collectors market for these things and that he could probably get some money for it and his eyes lit up a little but he thinks he can't sell it as it says "Property of Nokia" on it.
He also told me a few things like how he saw the Lumia design of phones knocking around in concept for years before they came out and he tells me that the laptop was also around for years and one day they suddenly just decided to release it and see what happens. He mentioned a tablet in the Lumia design but from what he says it sounds like he never actually saw a working one, rather just design prototypes.
I see there's that other prototype on here that is Build: B2 while this one is S1.1 although this one is HWID: 1100 whereas the other is 2070. Also it has a phone number printed next to the lens.
Anyone out there who can tell me a little more about this phone?
