Okay here's the thing, N900 won't want to play anymore sounds, I don't know why but it doesn't.

How it's acting:

Well I open media player, select a track press play and nothing happens. Playback doesn't start withing the player (meaning seconds don't pass) and no sound output.

I tried using headphones, no sound, no playback

I tried using bluetooth, no sound, no playback

I tried using FM, no sound, no playback

Used another media player, no sound, no playback

Then what I did:

Reflashed device, tried again every step that I wrote before, nothing

Reflashed emmc and then firmware, same problem

Checked every connections on the motherboard, nothing

Cleaned again every connector, nothing

Other problems this phone have: broken GSM chip.

Thoughts on this?

Did you try playing anything just after the reflash, without installing anything?

Did you read my first post?

I never installed anything after reflashing, it's a pure, stock fw. I even tried to play the stock music and video and nothing...

This remind me of troubles i had while tinkering with overclock and undervoltage. If the chip is not powered properly, you can have this. Also, if you have kp installed, be sure to load the default profile, not the "dsp" one which increase dsp freq for 720 recording.

If you did not tinker with kp and overclock, maybe this file need a special codec? did you try to install the extra decoder package after you flashed your beast?

No, I didn't do that, but I'll try.

I tried with the mp3's you get when you flash the phone, and nothing.

Oh, ok. it shoudl work fine.

Can you post output of dmesg after a failed attempt?

EDIT: (Not all the output, it may be giganormous, just the few last line, ideally the 50'ish last lines.
