Hi,
As many of us, I'm planning to buy a Jolla phone. And as many (I guess), I have some questions about this first Jolla phone specs.

So here this thread to summarize as much as possible what we know (dark blue), and what we don't (pink). Reply to this thread with the information you own or question you have about the specs, and I'll update this first post.

Screen:
  • Screen résolution of 960*540
  • Gorilla 2 Glass
  • 4.5" size but bezel should be smaller than on the prototype
  • Estrade display but nobody knows exactly what stands behind this name. Screen may be a bit curved as the N9 screen
  • IPS LCD

Memory:
  • 16 GB of flash
  • Micro SD extension
  • All the 16 GB for the user? Maybe not
  • 1 GB of RAM

Software:
  • Able to run Android apps
  • Gecko based browser
  • How will be the process to install and run Android apps from the end user oint of view? (Google Play?)
  • What will be the Maps software (Here?)
  • AGPS
  • GLONASS

Camera:
  • 8MP
  • LED Flash
  • 2MP Front camera

The Other Half interface:
  • Does it allow for "active" extensions like a physical keyboard or solar charger? -> Probably
  • Power
  • Wireless NFC
  • I2C

Sensors:
  • Proximity
  • Accelerometer
  • Compass
  • Gyroscope
  • Ambient light

Misc:
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon Dual Core Processor - 1.4 GHz
  • Micro SIM
  • GSM/3G/4G LTE
  • User replacable 2100 mAh battery
  • 141 g
  • 131*68*10 mm

We know it's a HD type display. Could be nHD or qHD too....

Don't think so. Let it be around 10 to 12GB.

Will be LED judging from the prototype, Xenon is always long rectangle and LED is square.

What is the size of the phone body dimension? If only they slim down the phone body size to fit the 4.5" screen in order to make the phone compact!

most threads are about nothing. Or at least end up beeing threads about nothing.
anyway, the display, will it be AMOLED or TFT? Does anyone know that?

What about the sensors?
Accelerometer and proximity are there for sure, but what about a compass, gyroscope, and maybe a barometer?

Also is there a radio receiver/transmitter?

Can you run Jolla (daul boot OS) on a Android Device.l? I'm a noob but is it possible? Sorry no sure if this is thread to discuss it but have yet to find a forum about it or on the Internet.
