Anyone notice the cool new feature in FM Radio 1.4.6? It needs a little refinement still, but it makes radio-use a LOT easier.

Just noticed it. Download radio station presets from the internet for your area are in a nice big list?
Hmm...I didn't know you could switch from headphones back to the internal speakers. Makes it a lot more useful if you feel like listening to OTA broadcast radio instead of internet radio.
Time to run down to radio shack and build a little 90-degree headjack plug antenna.
Hate dangling wires...

Post your results, method, and materials used please. Dangling wires on a wireless device doesn't sit well with me either.

Not going to happen until tomorrow though. Luckily Radio Shack is right down the street from me.

I grabbed this yesterday. My thanks to those responsible for this app. The local listings are great, and listening through the speakers is a much-needed feature.

The local listings thing would be great if I didn't live in the middle of nowhere where I can't pick up any of the major cities stations. I know they can't possibly list every town in the world, but it's still a bummer nonetheless. Although, it will still be useful when I'm on the road in an unfamiliar city.

This is a really great addition to the app, although I'd still like to see the FM functionality integrated into the media player...

This would be really great integrated with GeoClue, or at least Plazer, and then put the radio listings in "roaming" mode.

Automatically pickup presets for where you happen to be at.

Very cool idea! If you don't submit that as a feature request, I certainly will.

I can't even get the ones that are local for me, am I doing something wrong?
