Please share your experiences with me concerning N9 usability and feature set.
  1. Is N9 multilingual? Can keyboard be switched on the fly similar to an Android device? For example: can SMS conversations app and Contacts app accept Chinese language input while N9 default language is set to English?
  2. Can N9 use a standard Bluetooth keyboard like
Think Outside Stowaway Universal Bluetooth keyboard
    without installation of special drivers?

Thank you.

Not sure aboout a bluetooth kb, but changing iput languages is easy - just swipe the keyboard to the side and it will change the keyboard. Make sure your input languages are selected in input selections obviously.

I can confirm that the Think Outside keyboard works with the N9. There is a free application available (BTinput) that helps to enable this.

Stay away from N9. Inferior to N900 in every way. Worst email client, freezes and reboots constantly. Worst web browser. There are many better phones out there. Unless you are into masochism, dont do it.

I tried the N9 with a bluetooth keyboard and it works, but not as good as I'd like, arrows didn't work for example (don't know if this has changed since then)

If you think a hwkb is a requirement go for N900, older, but still one of the best hardware keyboards out there.
