Sometimes the n900 won't download files (even from different sites, I believe) from the Internet. The filenames pile up on the transient
'downloads' page, all with "0 Kb" or "0%". I can visit new pages in the meantime.

It's possible the files will eventually load, but I often lose them
all by closing the browser.

What is the problem? Could it have something to do with the
'Dual/GSM/3G' app?

Ok, what I seem to find now is that, at least
some of the time, when this 'downloading freeze'
occurs, the files actually *have* been downloaded,
there's just something wrong with the notification
system (the 'downloads' page, the 'downloading
complete' banner, and the 'close application and
pause ongoing downloads?' query). That's what's frozen.
