I have a blackberry and the 770. My cell provider (altell) doesn't have any support for bluetooth tethering or file access or anything... my blackberry doesn't broadcast a single service compatible with the 770.

What altell does support recently is USB tethering for the PC. They gave me a link to some software that let's me browse the internet on my pc using my phone's connection.

Anyway that I can use a miniB to miniB USB cable to connect my blackberry to my 770 and have internet access?

If not, does anyone know anyway to unlock the bluetooth services they never enabled? I mean it has bluetooth and supports all sorts of functions over bluetooth, but when pairing with the 770 I get the error "no compatible services found on this device..."

The new software for my pc usb tethering was a two part process. First it upgraded my phones firmware (backup/install/restore files)

Any chance it activated the bluetooth services?
