Jolla's Sailfish icon design is unique and elegant. However, as a fan of squircle icon design, I do miss the Harmattan style icons since day one.
Last time I simply resized the stock Harmattan icons from 80x80 to 86x86. As expected, the icons looks a bit blurry and a set of new icons should be created with high definition. Though Jolla icons are 86x86, they have no "margin" to icon board while Harmattan icons has 2px blank canvas on each side. (Although most N9 stock icons only has 1px) so I decided to make the icons 90x90 for Harmattan theme.
However, it seems doesn't matter if put higher resolution icons (like most Android original icons), it looks like the same as 90x90 when I tried 132x132. For now, I will stick to 90x90.
Tried some sample 90x90 Harmattan icons for Android apps:
Will also attach some "renewed" Harmattan icons. After remaking icons, will work on task bar icons and setting icons. (Probable taking directly from Harmattan)
PS: Help needed. Will it be possible to remake the official Harmattan template (attached) to a bigger size, eg 144x144 or more, just to make creating icons easier? The stock template has the spectrum but with 80x80 it is almost useless now.
Update soon...
