After first trying PQDVD's PSP Movie Creator to play DVD's on my N800 with mplayer and having it fail, I tried using PQDVD's Pocket DVD Studio for Palm. One click conversion, and it works like a champ with mplayer. Pocket DVD Studio has different crop options and resolution settings. I used the older 3.6 version that still works great on my Treo 650.

Just thought I would throw out this option for the non-tech folks like myself.
