This is not an image for the N900, it is for flashing the N900.
It is a LiveCD iso, which you can burn to a DVD (or write to a stick) and boot on a PC to then flash a N900 you have...

X11 logs on shutdown is a known issue: the device turns off after around 90 seconds.

For the setting text input crash, i really don't know what's going on, sorry. Is your keyboard working fine btw...

If Settings closes with error, something is probably wrong with your install: did you extand rootfs ? Reboot ? Did you made all updates ? Devel upgrade ? (absolutely necessary at the moment on N900...

Have people tried the latest netsurf? Not everything opens but for basic web browsing and reading news etc. I found it to be best. There is also one for Fremantle with EasyDebbie and works well.

There is no real web browser working at the moment. Only Dillo and Links2 (GUI mode) are usable because they use less than 50MB of RAM.
However there is no certificate issues and TLS1.3 works fine...

Just a final word of thanks to g7 whom has now moved on to other projects, but has ensured that patch still works to compile the final version of Sailfish 4.6.0.15 for F5321 Xperia X Compact. :)

I have to say I tried recompiling microb-engine (just as quick test), couldn't even with original source. Fails on running run-mozilla.sh with error: "unable to dump 00114c00". No clue how to fix...

Progress.
Kernel-cssu-modules was in conflict. removed it and ignored the end of world warnings - installed kernel-modules.
U-boot-flasher installed and managed to get Leste option on the boot...

Hmm it is strange I looked up and the kernel-modules belongs to
Maemo 5 device root filesystem (>= PR1.2) and not as I thought from extra-testing.

So I would say it is the ssu/mr0 repository...
