Skype is already installed, tap the status bar then click on 'Availability', next tap 'Accounts', then finally 'New' and you should see Skype, Google Talk, Facebook etc...

I was thinking of something like this also, but i was thinking more of a static box you could put what you want in.
Then when you swiped... the static box would stay along with whatever you put...

I think one of the only places it comes in useful is with zooming. Im sure someone could write something which when one finger goes over the light sensor, the other finger on the screen would zoom.

Ah, in QT Designer I remember deleting the 'MenuBar' bit thinking I didn't need it, but looking at your code it looks like I do, so i'll have to add that back in, then I can try your code above.

I needed to add in both windows, but I also needed to import
from PyQt4.QtCore import Qt

TV Catchup now works!
Loaded TV Catchup and noticed a 'new' low quality stream.
So loaded the same site on the n900, and tried it out...
Works absolutely perfect! Live streaming TV now available!
Give it a go...

Ok ive been through and I found the "fix". I used the one on page 37 of this page, and then had a play with it.
Ive literally just took the opacity and shadow away and it is a lot better... guess...
