Guys, I'm sorry that there is no progress on the project. I don't know about @SR, but I've been busy lately. I'll probably look at the current issues this weekend. Stay tuned.

Afaik, the rule for stardict is "one directory per dictionary". For your Oxford dict create a directory "~/.stardict/dic/oxford" and put all oxford.* data files in it. I'm 100% sure it...

First of all I'm sorry I've made a software package but forgot to add all dependencies. Otherwise all necessary packages would be installed automatically.
So you need bunch of python...

At the moment I've moved some patches from v2.4.8 to 3.0 and it does not seem to be stable. I'll digg this after my vacation, it's in 2 weeks ;)

Toolchain is the other name for SDK tool kit with cross-compiler and other stuff.

No, it does not require Qt, it's the same old StarDict, but only compiled for OS2008. I'll fix some minor icon...

I've just installed Maemo toochain and the first application to test of course was stardict(I like it very much).
I've uploaded two .deb-packages there:
