Re: The Real n900 successor?
I'm sorry but I feel Meego is a big step back for me from Maemo. I bought the n900 when it was already old and unsupported and I would have no issue buying a n9 under the same circumstances, just...

Re: Thank you Opera

Re: [ANNOUNCE] EasyList
Just wanted to add my thanks for this great application. It's one of the most used on my phone (after maybe the browser and the terminal)
I would like to add that I'm interested on running my own...

Re: Xiaomi Phone
I will eventually part with my n900. But I don't like even htc's build quality. I seriously doubt this one will be any better. For example I was reading today Anand's review of an android slider and...

Re: Stripped Screws w/NO Solution. Will Buy
IF you know what are you doing AND have a good machine / STEADY hand you can drill the head of the screws with a small drill. I did that with a few screws on an e71. After the head is off the rest of...

Re: Why I am getting a Nokia N9 (are you?)
I completely agree with the OP. And I also enjoyed daperl's comment:
Indeed, I thought exactly the same things as you guys when I bough the N900 despite missing support (by the time I bought...

Re: Goodbye Meego, goodbye Nokia
I have supported nokia in many ways for a long time now. This move indeed saddened me. Despite all the criticism, especially from the big mouthed US blogs and journals I was hoping of a bright future...

Re: i just bought a n900
I never understood everybody's hurry to overclock the n900. And I find it a big mistake to recommend it to a beginner. If he doesn't know yet how to install applications I doubt he will make the...

Re: metal detector app for N900
the n8 has a compass (magnetometer actually). the n900 doesn't. By the way I heard of a nice app for android - that is a tricorder (like the ones in startrek) using all the available sensors...

I was about to change the left speaker for a replicator. Yes mono sucks, but having an Earl Grey every now and then is priceless.

Well since most of the apps but not all are gone and the data from mass memory (which I suppose is how you call your bigger vfat partition) I would speculate that your emmc got unmounted.

Re: Nokia N900 Apps for Blind People!
Speaking without thinking must be something really important theses days. Andoid is even more built around touching (most of the android devices around have no keyboard at all !)
I second the...
