installed 44 today. and sound does not work.
When starting, I have to enter the pin. And even then there is no click and no vibration with the new kernel. And the nokia-handshake-film is not shown....

Not everything works. Sometimes the headset disconnects after a
telephone call. And the name of the caller is not displayed. But the caller-ID is.
I don't know if the headset could display...

The problem seems to be, that the headphone only connects as hfp, but not as a2dp. So only if the headphone initiates the connection. On another thread, somebody posted a script. This is my version...

syncing to Desktop "just works"

I just found out, that with the latest syncevolution installed on my Laptop, I can sync to the built-in SyncML-Client of my N900.
I installed syncevolution 1.0.2 from syncevolution.org on my Laptop...

the package is in the tools-repository. You can install it via terminal. Become root an type: "apt-get install traceroute"
Before, you have to be sure to have the tools-repository enabled.

I found out how to make packages which show up in the application manager. mtr-tiny and iproute can now be installed with your thumb

there is mtr-tiny in that repository which is far better than traceroute. I built it and it works great.
