No problem... the patches are for different files so they shouldn't interfere. I should have it in a couple of hours. Ideally, this fix should be merged into the upstream.

I have managed to fix the focus problem with a quick patch. I have attached the patch file, and the binary package is available at http://s3.jspenguin.org/mplayer_1.0svn3.1_armel.deb.

MPlayer doesn't seem to be accepting keyboard input. Whenever I launch it, keyboard input goes to whatever window I had open last. If I switch away and switch back, keyboard input goes to the desktop...
