N900 ALT+Shift key is no longer working

For some reason my ALT key when tapped twice cannot do FN lock and my shift key cannot no longer do shift lock as well. Does anyone know what could be the matter?

The problem i have with these inputs is that they disable my symbol keyboard? Like it doesnt pop up any more? So if i am trying to do SH| or < > I cannot gain access to these symbols? Does anyone...
