Browser had facebook open, 2 windows of IM, stuttering occered only when switching task ! I do have couple of apps from Extras, and I very well know how to use the device !

I understand that the N900 has limited resources, but something like playing music smoothly is one simple expectation, I remember my 5800 doing this very easily ! I'm not sure about the whole...

the reason of this post is to address the lack of that native look or feel in the various apps either community or those like 'settings' etc instead of boring black and a uniform look...

the phone is not vulnerable to viruses firstly and secondly did you try a restart that should clear anything buggy in your memory hopefully.

Well I can't get past the restart browser part...it just refuses to restart ...I even tried to uninstall the version of adblock I got off the repos :(

while watching engadgets live coverage and when multitasker demo showed up the first thing came to my mind was how my previous cell, Nokia 5800 used to multitask it basicly looks like nokia's symbian...

Just installed the wave transition, quite funny how the Blur makes it all slow down :( !!

Anyways Its great I managed to install it easily using WinSCP and OpenSSH, its much easier...

I miss Ovi Maps and Nokia Sports tracker the most on my n900, and nothing else - I barely made video calls or sent or recd. MMSs !
N900 is the best device i've owned .....

what I lack is linux...

Portrait mode is available in few apps but its not across the OS/UI !! It will NOT come to Maemo 5 although full OS Portrait mode will be supported in MeeGo !!
