search for hildon desktop portrait mode lock, it donloads new hildon desktop on top of cssu and allows to lock it in portrait with blacklist apps in landscape. apps only go landscape if keyboard...

oh i had similar problem the solution is the battery is loose so it keeps moving about and looses the battery connection touch on pins best thing to do is at the bottom of our N900 where the battery...

Found a Trick to set portrait wallpapers!
Hello people i always wanted to set wallpapers in portrait but this isnt possible even if you have a image file 480x800 when you try to set it it gets zoomed in and set as 800x480 and looks rubbish!...

Mate whatever you do not turn your phone on for few days even with a new or differrent battery! Let it completely dry out! Use special alcohol containg liquid for cleaning getting rid of sea water...

The confusion is this line "copy images to opt/qtlockscreen/default" when it should it be "copy images to opt/qtlockscreen/default/image"....

the background picture can be done two ways!
1) open xterminal
root
leafpad /home/user/.config/sakya/QtLockscreen.ini
then go to the bit where it says background wallpaper and change...

Sorry but that would be like having a symbian s60 v5 type homscreen! One of the best things about the n900 is the ability to personalise the device as user wishes and thats including homescreens!
