with OVI SUITE 3.0184 you can BACKUP:
contacts, ALL MESSAGES, music, notes etc.! with the built-in BACKUP-manager you can back-up ALL YOUR APPS :)

coool here in europe nokia gives 24 MONTHS of WARRANTY on everything (except battery) got my micro-usb replaced by getting a brand new n900 for free :D haha

Whatsapp ist just plain ********. why dont you use pidgin, icq, msn, skype, facebook-chat or every other IM out there?! the n900 has a plenty of them.
and Whatsapp is just useless.

n900 doesn't need useless so-called 'apps'. apps that doesn't have any more 'functionality' are clearly useless.
so learn using the webbrowser. one of the fastest mobile browser on the planet....
