I just installed 8.0-3 and like the idea of the new widget. The old widget used to resize itself if there were not many feeds being monitored so that it did not use as much screen space. ...

The calendar wakes up at 4AM to delete items based on the value in settings. If you set this to Never, the calendar won't wake up.
