As long as you re-encode the videos, or use videos encoded for the PSP already, you'll be fine with movies. However, if you're not wanting to reencode videos, you may be disappointed by the N8x0's...

The 770 doesn't come with a CD as far as I know. This device is designed to act fairly independently from a PC, unlike a PDA.
