How to disable built in IM auto away
I am using OS 2008 RTCOMM (beta I believe) but this should also apply to the vanilla built in IM client. I don't know if anyone else noticed this problem , but I did and found a solution to boot.

There are apps that can convert .aa to .mp3, thus removing all the DRM, but depending on your residence they may or may not violate copyright or DMCA laws. Personally, I think it's pretty ridiculous...

Personally, I would not restore the backup. People have had problems. Hell, I even had problems restoring from OS2008 beta to OS2008 full.
