Hi,
I was just wondering if there was any project to create a mini-video editor for the N900 to do quick edits of the videos that the phone shoots?

I believe that W7 advertises the shares through cifs & uPnp, on Ubuntu you shared folders are just advertised through cifs. You probably have to find or enable uPnp on your Ubuntu.

I use an O2 simplicity contract monthly renewable with "unlimited" internet for £20/month, I preferred to pay the N900 full price (well after cashback and discount around £370) that always works out...
