That looks okay, so it must be a different problem :( I guess you could try reinstalling it to make sure though (you'll need rootsh installed):

sudo gainroot
apt-get install --reinstall...

You may need to flash the eMMC as well then. Power off the N900 and connect it via USB first - it should start up in mass storage mode, allowing you to backup the data from the MyDocs folder before...

eeeeeeeeeeek - erm good question now, i'm assuming its a call to nokia support? (Not that i'd expect much back....) - there are many other threads on constant rebooting, do a search and a hunt first...

I had the same problem, looked like a dependency issue so on a hunch I installed gpodder. Now it works. I assume gpodder pulls in the missing python lib.
