Thanks, Brent - latest working fine now, after I remembered to delete previous before downloading the .deb (!)
Before that I tried using FapMan to upgrade and suffered the disappearing widget...

Also, a suggestion: Could you add a NULL search engine or a similar concept? Or maybe a feeling lucky thing. I'd think being able to just go to a site I want...
