If you already have Python installed (I'm fairly sure you do!), just in the terminal:
If you need an editor with the ability to easily test code, look to PyGTKeditor (I highly recommend that, I wrote 95% of Quick Clip with that).Code:python script_name

What's most like that for the Tablet? After installing, do I need to do anything other than enter the application's name in Xterm and select Run from a Menu?
