I assume you are refering to v0.46?

I'm sure that it is receiving some attention because it's functionality is an integral part of the h-e-n software, which is being worked on. There are patches...

If you want a bleeding-edge power kernel, take a look at kernel-bfs. It's power46+BFS+wl1.

Although, I had to tweak my Swappolube settings, enable HWSync and mlock hildon-desktop to make it feel...

That's what I meant, yes. So you still get the same "stale NFS file handle" error after rebooting?

How are you for free rootfs space ("df -h /" in X Terminal will give you this)?

In which case, go into App Manager and disable all the repositories. Exit App Manager, then re-launch it and enable the repositories again. That should force a redownload of all the repository data...
