Re: The future of your Nokia Windows phone
Can't we get some more informed and justified productive comments rather than blind nerd rage?
A more productive thing to do is list the deficiencies of WP7 (both in software and in development...

Re: The future of your Nokia Windows phone
There's more than one WONTFIX. So yeah, I have plenty of ideas. Either continue to bury your head in the sand and act like there are no problems; or admit that the WONTFIX's exist and some are in...

Re: [Announce] Opera Mobile 10
It's a hobby release? You guys sure take your hobbies seriously.
But yeah, kudos to the Opera Maemo Team (lets call you that, shall we) for what I have been praying for all this while - a 'mobile'...

Re: [Announce] Opera Mobile 10
I love the fact that Opera didn't forget the N8x0 folks and delivered something out of the blue that, while considered "Alpha" might be more polished than other offerings from Nokia as "final".

Re: Nokia launches a Netbook in 2011 ?
This reminds me of the early 1990 ads by AT&T "You Will (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZb0avfQme8)"... half of that stuff took almost a decade to come true.
I'm starting to liken the fact that...

Re: Nokia launches a Netbook in 2011 ?
That's very nice and all.
This is what Peter said in late 2008...
"We will be able to built different kind of high-performance multimedia computers with touch screen that fit into your pocket."...

Re: Nokia launches a Netbook in 2011 ?
So let's hope that none on Nokia announce an Intel based tablet for 2010/2011, because it could seem than currently Maemo 5 platform has been born dead:
Maemo 5 is the previous step to Hartmatan,...

Ähh?! I was writing exactly that. I removed the search field because there is no portrait keyboard.
For the rest of the application a note taking application has at least two use cases:
Writing and...

Re: Things i really don't like ...
It is dishearting to see how Nokia stumbles in its strategy. If they cannot support rotation on the OS, get a life guys. Take a break!
You had 2 years since the last Maemo device was launched (N810)...

Re: Things i really don't like ...
I really don't care if it is a surprise or not, what irritates me is that it is the cause we don't have any update to the broken browser in diablo.
Luckily, thanks to tear, I've no need for the...

Re: Things i really don't like ...
This is how I think of it too, but I think that is a use case, isn't it?
As a user of a small pocketable computer you have very specific needs that some users won't. And yet you persist as being a...

Re: Things i really don't like ...
Correct me if I am wrong, but don't Nokia already fork it and modify it where necessary?
I have (by and large) gotten over it not being included in Diablo (and I guess it does not matter any...

Re: 8G iphone is now $99 a piece. Good? Bad?
$99 is actually a good price that I could buy one... Where can I get one? I do not want a contract... just the phone since I already have a service from other provider.
Oh wait... You can't buy...

Re: N900 specs revealed

Yet another OpenTTD port
I couldn't get any of the already available OpenTTD ports to work on my N810, so I decided I would start yet another one, this time from a pristine OpenTTD-0.7.0.
And either 0.7.0 has some fixes...
