before you reflash (it is such a pain) try this.....take the battery out . ..let it sit uncharged for a couple of hours...put the battery in and while unplugged try to boot....i dont know whhy but...

If you have sshd installed, you could try to ssh in and fix it.

Otherwise reflash should work https://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_tablet_firmware
