I honestly do not understand why people over here are disappointed. N9 was never meant to be N900 successor. If they had stuck with original symbian + Qt + Meego plan, N9 wouldve been their flagship...

True multi-tasking, video pausing is a design decision. It is up to apps to decide how they scale down their battery use while in the background.
Games also obviously pause when you move them to...

The N9 is IMHO the best phone ever done with open source. Yes, it does have "only" virtual key boards (and can have several of them...

Even Mary noticed that the phone names don't sound right.
Dunno why they decided to go that way. Especially on the low side it gets confusing as Nokia pumps out phones faster on that side.
