I upload a package libqt4-dev-armel into https://garage.maemo.org/projects/libqt4-dev-arm/
You can install it on N900 Maemo for small QT...

Version 10-1 (also in extras-testing) fixes the rerun bug and adds a dbus dependency to support users who have not installed other python apps.

Currently I'm doing it in the same way that that post says. Running it from a file, rather than a separate partition.
Qole also has an easy-chroot guide here...
