I'm guilty of it myself. A noob posts a "OMG this phone is crap" post and I jump to it's defence, ususally berating the noob, because personally I love it, but I am aware I have to put work into it...

Once you've done the left-side swipe in browser, use finger to pull mouse cursor to point in page, then use [space bar] or [shift] to left-click and select area the cursor is over - useful for e.g....

It is well known that in the browser, the spacebar scrolls the page downwards, and the backspace key goes to the previous page in the history.
It's a bit less well known that the same keys,...

What i did to get rid of the borders for the desktop shortcuts was:
start x-terminal
type root
cd /user/share/themes/THEMENAME/images/
and then only renamed the file
ApplicationShorcutApplet.png...

The eMMC doesn't really need to be reflashed, but if you think you might have corrupted something in the OS there is no problem reflashing eMMC 41.1 + PR1.1.
Flashing the eMMC will completely wipe...
