Hi,

I just had this problem. I had previously had BlessN900, flashlight-applet and mbarcode installed. I removed BlessN900 before I installed kernel-power, as I'd heard there were problems between...

Re: MicroB can't connect when on GPRS

Your problem seems identical to the one which I had 2 month ago (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=924719&postcount=1). I couldn't find solution, so I reflashed device. :(

Re: Memory not accessable

Hi.
Before reflashing, what about trying this?

sudo gainroot
umount /home/user/MyDocs
fsck -a /home/user/MyDocs

Re: Overclock the N900?

You can just do the OTA update without uninstalling. Or you can uninstall first then update. Doesn't matter, either way you will then be running the stock PR1.3 kernel and will need to reinstall...

Re: Overclock the N900?

OK, got it working by uninstalling first:

apt-get remove kernel-power kernel-power-flasher
apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power kernel-power-flasher
apt-get install kernel-power-settings

Re: Jaaksi leaves?

Quim is fine. And MeeGo is fine. We all will miss Ari, a true pioneer of open source and taking Linux mainstream. We have built the first tablets under him and he was the man that run R&D to bring...

Re: Dorian - ebook reader (ePub) for N900

You can have Fbreader in fullscreen with a clock visible at the page bottom. You should go to Preferences, Indicator tab and select Show Time.

Re: no gps lock after installing kernel-power

I'm using the stock kernel now, but I've had the power kernel installed in the past and it still gets a GPS lock just fine.

Actually I just got a lock in about 5 seconds! Indoors!

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

The way I see it is that the real problem is that the Ovi Store is not up and running the way it should be. If there were a decent way to distribute apps for Maemo 5, I'm sure sio2 would have takken...

The more I think about it, the less I think that's true. The process seems pretty reasonable; updates are queued, testers vote, things are promoted after sufficient votes. It seems pretty obvious...
