For some reason it the GPS coordinates work for the "nearby location" but does not work when actually checking in.

Hope your test works then you can tell us what you did to make it work.

If you have PR 1.2 installed on your N900 than microB comes with geolocation. No need to install an add-on. Likewise with Fennec (comes built-into the browser).

I'm assuming the only thing it does...

I installed the geo location pluggin and then restarted my N900. I still got the same error message you received. Google maps can get my lat long coordinates, but facebook places can't so I don't...

Note that a lot of sites just uses your IP number to get a rough guestimate of location. This does not work well with mobile units using ppp, since the IP number your unit gets doesn't have a strong...

I think it does if you use the www.touch.facebook.com website. But I haven't tried myself (don't really care to share my location).

The msgbox you see for ur location is just if you wish to use ur location...

you are using daily app manager? Why?

But surely. Itīs a bit slow. Disablind testing/devel repositories makes it little faster. IIRC there is some bug reports about this.
