Had the same operation failed issues with default camera app and blessn900 after I upgraded to titans kernel 42.

I didn't want to jump to 45 as I saw quite a few problems being encountered but...

Don't guess. Look at the "details" for the PR1.3 update in app manager. Next to the tab that says you need to use Nokia update manager is another tab with "Problems" as a title.

In the past (https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3591) actually, with the second (4.2008.36-5) SSU. Until you do upgrade there's a temporary workaround described here...

I don't know about buying an N8x0 on Amazon but I can say that I have bought alot of other stuff on Amazon and I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I buy from Amazon all the time.

Yep I grabbed my N800 from amazon as well, I'm in Australia and it arrived in just under 2 weeks, nothing wrong with it at all, no damage to the box or the unit so I was quite happy :)
