As the log states, you get a /dev/sda device node. Not /dev/sda1 .

So, try

mount /dev/sda /mnt/whatever

and see what happens.

The version only matters for the main extras repository - for -testing and -devel, all the versions point to the same repository.

I can confirm this (i tried the same thing a few months ago (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=38484)). Just delete those two files and your save games will be "reset".

There's a .lmarbles_profile and a .lmarbles_state file in the user's home directory, so deleting them may reset it (I've not tried this yet though).

Look for a settings directory. Open the x-terminal and type:

ls -al | grep -i mar

If you find a .marbles directory or anything like that, delete it:

rm -Rf .marbles


This will reset...

what kind of data you dont want to loose?

It seems that you have a problem with the firewall and not VNC.

You can define a firewall rule for that on your PC.

Another option is to tunnel VNC port 5900 through ssh.

The problem seems to be caused because apt tries to install both libsdl-ttf2.0-0 and libsdl-ttf2.0.

I resolved this by force removing the installed libsdl-ttf2 version:

you need to modify file extension handler if you want to open docs from email or file manager.
