Re: The End is Coming: What do we do next?

I'm with geneven, and it puzzles me why some flatly refuse to entertain the idea of a return to ITT. It was ITT back when I joined, not NITT (Nokia Internet Tablet Talk). It seems that everyone...

Cool Re: The End is Coming: What do we do next?

Great post. Honest and sobersome. After weeks (months?) of speculative threads around Meego/N9-N950 I came to realise that the N900 had already passed its expiration date. The broken USB thread came...

Re: The End is Coming: What do we do next?

N900's main feature to me is that it's like a little linux computer in my pocket. I quit using my laptop entirely after I bought the N900.

Android/Symbian/WinPhone/iPhone/etc are all too...

Unhappy The End is Coming: What do we do next?

Re: [N950] Infodump Thread

The main goal is to disable the aegis "seal" that prevents tampering from userspace to the Aegis enforcing settings. I mentioned userspace because nothing prevents a kernel module from tampering with...

Re: What does the N9 offer above the N900

Your comparison seems to be wrong, since Quim Qil is telling in Meego forums that N9 has both FM receiver and transmitter capabilities, but it's lacking software currently.

Re: Why I am getting a Nokia N9 (are you?)

@mrojas that's right, freedom of choice is most important. Back when I were managing console game development for a pretty small software house, we were shackled by the harsh terms and conditions set...

Why I am getting a Nokia N9 (are you?)

(Yeah, this is a rant):

You know really sickens me? That there is a bunch of pied pipers towing the industry towards dependence on single ecosystems of single manufacturers, on permanent active...

Re: [Annnounce] Sociality | Facebook client in Qt

As to giving...
