Install status-area-orientationlock-applet if you haven't yet.

Although why on earth would anyone want to use a nice device like the N900 in portrait is beyond me.

I voted to buy it at €1000. The trolls and naysayers in this thread strike me as suspicious. Who are they? What are they afraid of?

Re: CSSU hildon, how to remove portrait mode

Alternatively,

You can edit /etc/mce/mce.ini and remove "accelerator" from the Modules line.

Or you can "modprobe -r lis302dl" (you can put it in some init script).

This is what I've done:
1. Installed orientation lock applet as freemangordon said (in my case, by installing CSSU);
2. Set lock to landscape only;
3. Uninstalled orientation lock applet.

That...

I had some problems with the FAM, so maybe I won't continue it, but changing the colour of the font is easy I think ;)

I will do it later or tomorrow ;)

Re: [Announce][Fremantle] Qalendar 0.5.1 -- a clone of the default calendar

It belongs to the theme in my opinion. If you want to customize or remove the images, you can find them in /usr/share/themes/*/calendar/qgn_calendar_bg_*.jpg. The extension is misleading, the files...
